Job Title:Technical Sales Engineer Fire Protection Products

Location:Ahmedabad

Position Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to drive the growth of our fire protection product portfolio. In this role, you will act as a bridge between technical engineering teams and customers, promoting fire safety solutions such as sprinklers, suppression systems, valves, and piping, while offering technical expertise and business development support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for fire protection solutions, targeting consultancies, contractors, and building owners.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support: prepare product-specific proposals, create system layouts, and recommend optimal fire protection configurations.
  • Conduct product presentations, seminars, and on-site demonstrations to educate customers on fire protection systems.
  • Assist with specification and quoting: interpret customer requirements, generate BOQs, and coordinate with engineering and operations teams.
  • Support installation and commissioning teams: provide technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting on fire protection products.
  • Maintain and build customer relationships, working with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
  • Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecast via CRM / ERP tools.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Fire Safety Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience (2+ years) in technical sales or pre-sales engineering, preferably in fire protection, HVAC, or piping systems.
  • Good working knowledge of fire protection products (sprinklers, valves, fittings), and the relevant codes/standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in preparing technical submittals, quotations, and sales documentation.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills and a proactive, self-driven approach.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits, site surveys, and training.
