About the Role

Aerem Solutions is looking for energetic and technically sound Sales Engineers to drive our residential solar division across key hubs in Maharashtra. This role is ideal for proactive professionals who can simplify complex electrical concepts for homeowners and guide them through the transition to clean energy. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle from initial site assessment to closing the deal and ensuring a smooth installation handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Proactively identify and engage with residential property owners and housing societies in your assigned region to promote solar rooftop solutions.
  • Technical Site Assessment: Conduct preliminary site surveys to evaluate roof space, shadow analysis, and existing electrical infrastructure.
  • Solution Designing: Work with the technical team to prepare customized solar proposals, including system sizing, estimated energy generation, and ROI calculations.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct in-person meetings with homeowners to explain technical benefits, government subsidies (such as PM-Surya Ghar), and financing options.
  • Regional Management: Manage the end-to-end customer journey for your specific city, ensuring all technical queries are resolved and local DISCOM (MSEDCL) documentation is handled.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on local utility policies, net-metering regulations, and competitor offerings in the Western Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Vidarbha regions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical Foundation: A degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory. You must understand single-line diagrams (SLDs), AC/DC components, and basic solar PV physics.
  • Communication: Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is highly preferred to effectively communicate with residential consumers across these specific districts.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills, persistence, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Mobility: High local mobility is required for frequent site visits and client meetings. Possession of a two-wheeler is mandatory.
  • Freshers Welcome: Candidates with 0–1 year of experience who have completed internships or projects in the renewable energy sector are highly encouraged to apply.
