Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sales Engineer for industrial valves and valve automation products. The candidate will be responsible for business development, customer handling, technical discussions, quotation preparation, and order execution support for valves, actuators, and automation packages.

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Sales Engineer based in Vadodara.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new customers and maintain relationships with existing customers in industries such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, Water, Pharma, and EPC contractors.
  • Promote industrial valves, actuators, limit switches, solenoid valves, positioners, and complete valve automation packages.
  • Visit customers regularly in Vadodara and nearby industrial areas for business development.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
  • Prepare techno-commercial quotations and follow up for orders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, delivery, documentation, and order execution.
  • Attend technical discussions, site meetings, and customer presentations.
  • Handle inquiries from consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end users.
  • Maintain sales records, customer visit reports, and business pipeline.
  • Achieve sales targets and support payment collection activities.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Support after-sales service and customer complaint handling when required.
Required Skills
  • Strong knowledge of industrial valves and valve automation products.
  • Knowledge of ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, butterfly valves, control valves, actuators, accessories, and instrumentation.
  • Ability to understand P&ID, technical specifications, GA drawings, and datasheets.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, email communication, and ERP/CRM software.
  • Ability to travel frequently for customer visits.
  • Good presentation and relationship management skills.
Qualification
  • Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
  • MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage.
Experience
  • 2 to 8 years of experience in industrial valves, actuators, automation, or related industrial products.
  • Experience in handling customers from Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, EPC, Water, and Power sectors preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Candidate should be based in or willing to relocate to Vadodara.
  • Must have experience in technical sales of valves and automation products.
  • Should be self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Valid driving license and own vehicle preferred.
Salary
  • Salary will be based on candidate experience and current package.
