Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Kochi. The Sales Engineer will work closely with prospective and existing clients to understand their automation needs and recommend suitable home and office automation solutions. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting the sales team during client meetings and negotiations. The role also involves coordinating with the technical team for system design, installation follow-up, and after-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction. The Sales Engineer will maintain accurate sales records, track opportunities, and provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales Engineering and Sales, with the ability to translate customer needs into practical automation solutions.
- Strong Technical Support and Customer Service skills to assist clients before and after installation.
- Excellent Communication skills for presenting solutions, conducting demos, and collaborating with internal teams.
- Knowledge of smart home/office automation, IoT, or related technologies is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, conduct client visits, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, willingness to learn new technologies, and a customer-focused approach.
- Prior experience in B2B or technical solution sales in automation, electrical, or electronics domains is an advantage.
