Job Description

Position Overview

Prepare detailed and complete quotation bid packages compliant with customer requirements and specifications.

Essential Job Functions

  • Review customer inquiry documents to determine Neway product selection based on customer requirements and specifications.
  • Communicate with customers, front sales to obtain information and have clear understanding of quotation requirements.
  • Prepare detailed and complete quotation bid packages within prescribed deadlines.
  • Prepare project-based Deviations / clarifications list.
  • Collaborate with Application / Engineering for technical matters, HQ Sales for commercial inputs and management as needed.
  • Communicate with Vendors for bought-out items for valve automation. Review of vendor offers for compliance with customer specifications.
  • Actuator and Accessories sizing & selection.
  • Review and compare purchase orders for accuracy and completeness against quotation parameters prior to order entry.
  • Manage full-cycle quotation and purchase order communication process, including internal and external customer correspondence, face-to-face meetings, quotation clarification, revisions, issues resolution, etc. to ensure agreement with requirements.
  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with customers, HQ factory and internal personnel to promote confidence in the Neway organization and to deliver a consistent high level of customer service.
  • Keep updated with Neway products, procedures, specifications and with industry developments.
  • Assist HQ for shipping and payment collection.

Requirements / Desirables:

  • Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 1-5 years experience for Graduate and 4-8 years for Diploma holders in Valve Industry (Ball, Butterfly, Gate, Globe& Check Valves) as a Inside Sales Engineer or Application Engineer or Quotation Specialist.
  • Familiar with Valve Standards, Material standards, Oil and Gas Industry End User Specification.
  • Professional and Positive Attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Possess a high-energy level, competitive nature.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines
  • Self-management: initiative, organized, process orientation.
  • Possess meticulous attention to detail, time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication. Fluent in English and local language
  • Familiarity with SAP and CRM will be an added advantage.
