Position Overview -
Sales Engineer will be a seasoned, results-driven expert responsible for developing and executing high-impact sales strategies to expand our market share in the O&G filtration and separation domain.
This role requires deep technical expertise in process engineering and established relationships with
key decision-makers in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), major O&G corporations, EPC contractors,
across India and globally.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Market Expansion: Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve
and exceed annual sales targets.
Technical Sales & Solutions: Engage in complex technical discussions with clients, performing system analysis and interpreting data to propose value-added, customized filtration and separation solutions.
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with critical clients and senior stakeholders within the O&G sector, ensuring high levels of client
satisfaction and repeat business.
International Business Development: Drive market penetration in international O&G markets, managing the complexities of import/export processes, legal compliance, and diverse regulatory environments.
Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Lead the entire tender and proposal life cycle, from inquiry analysis and design approvals to complex price negotiations and final contract execution.
Market Intelligence & Reporting: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and new technological advancements in O&G filtration, providing regular, detailed sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Chemical is required.
Experience: 5 - 7 years of proven, hands-on experience in business development or technical sales within the Oil & Gas or a related heavy industrial sector, with a specific focus on filtration, separation, or related process equipment sales.
Domain Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of separation processes, including clarification,
membrane separation, and associated equipment application within refinery or plant environments is essential.
Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers in a techno-commercial capacity.
Mobility: Ability to travel extensively (both domestically and internationally) as required to visit client sites, aend industry conferences, and manage international business operations.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software for sales management and tracking, and standard MS Office suite applications.
