Role Overview

The Business Development Associate bridges engineering insight with commercial growth. This role focuses on understanding client operations, translating technical requirements into value-driven solutions, and supporting revenue generation across industrial segments. You will work closely with the Support team and clients to position the right products, demonstrate technical value, and build long-term customer partnerships.

Think of this role as part consultant, part growth catalyst, and part relationship architect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with industrial clients to understand operational challenges and application requirements.
  • Provide technical consultation and recommend optimal mechanical and electromechanical engineering solutions.
  • Support the sales team with pre-sales engineering expertise, product positioning, and solution design.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase application-specific value.
  • Respond proactively to client queries, offering practical and commercially viable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and account growth.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development within existing accounts.

Location

  • Ludhiana, Punjab Region.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth by bridging technical solutions with client business needs in industrial markets.
  • Hands-on experience addressing customer queries and delivering application-focused solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical or Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering principles relevant to industrial products.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills to translate technical complexity into clear customer value.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical education preferred.
  • Prior exposure to industrial sales, solution consulting, or product support is a strong advantage.
