Core Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing plans for EMC products, resistors, heating elements, and other products in the company's portfolio to achieve defined revenue targets.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Independently identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
Campaign Management
Design, implement, and monitor sales and marketing campaigns to drive lead generation and brand visibility.
Client Relationship Management
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Market Intelligence
Conduct competitor analysis and track market trends to refine pricing strategies and product positioning.
Sales Presentations
Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to senior decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, technical heads, etc.).
Performance Analytics
Track and report key performance indicators such as lead conversion rates, demo-to-close ratios, and ROI using CRM and analytics tools.
Defence Sector Engagement
Stay updated on ongoing and upcoming defence projects and identify opportunities with DRDO, PSUs (BEL, BEML, ECIL, HAL, HVF, etc.) and other defence equipment manufacturers to pitch products for relevant applications.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Communication) or MBA
Experience
2 to 5 years of proven success in B2B or B2C sales and marketing
Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with CRM tools, MS Office, and related sales systems
Defence Industry Preference
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in defence products and those currently working with organizations empanelled as listed vendors to defence organizations (Army / Navy / Air Force).
Soft Skills
- Consultative Selling: Strong problem-solving approach and ability to act as a trusted advisor
- Negotiation: Proven capability to handle complex objections and close high-value deals
- Adaptability: Ability to quickly adjust strategies based on changing customer behaviour and market dynamics
