Opportunity Overview:
This role is designed for candidates who combine technical understanding with a commercial mindset. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for business development, customer engagement, and driving growth by promoting Bullflex's portfolio of rubber conveyor beltings & special-purpose belting solutions.
You will play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with OEMs, quarrying & crushing plants, EPC contractors, cement plants, ports, mines, and other industrial customers across Gujarat.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Sales Engineer at Bullflex Rubbers Private Limited, your responsibilities will include:
- Identify new business opportunities in crushing plants, mining units, cement plants, OEMs, and material-handling industries across Gujarat.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for conveyor belts and value-added products.
- Generate leads, conduct field visits, and convert inquiries into profitable orders.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
- Act as the technical point of contact for customers; understanding their requirements, belt specifications, applications, load conditions, and usage patterns.
- Ensure post-sales support, follow-ups, payment follow-up coordination, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Conduct site visits and technical evaluations for belt selections, jointing patterns, and suitability assessments.
- Suggest optimal belt types such as EP conveyor belts, Chevron belts, Heat-Resistant belts, M24/N17 grades, and special-purpose beltings based on customer applications.
- Present Bullflex's technical strengths, quality differentiators, and performance benefits.
- Coordinate with the internal teams Commercial, Production, QC, and Dispatch to ensure timely delivery and customer commitments.
- Track order confirmations (OC), dispatch schedules, and lead times.
- Support pricing discussions and ensure competitive yet profitable quotations.
- Prepare weekly MIS reports covering leads, visits, conversions, and market trends.
- Provide insights about competitor pricing, dealer movements, and product performance in the Gujarat belt market.
- Actively participate in exhibitions, customer meets, and technical presentations.
- 25 years of experience in Industrial Sales, Technical Sales, or B2B Engineering Sales.
- Experience in industries like Mining, Crushing, OEMs, Heavy Machinery, Rubber Products, Material Handling Equipment, Foundry, Cement, or Infrastructure is highly preferred.
- Basic understanding of conveyor systems, EP fabrics, rubber grades, belt specifications, and industrial applications.
- Ability to read and explain technical data sheets (MTDS).
- Strong command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Email communication).
- High level of confidence, initiative, and drive for achieving targets.
- Excellent client-handling, negotiation, and field sales abilities.
- Ability to travel extensively across Gujarat.
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related engineering fields.
