Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer to drive business growth in the construction equipment / infrastructure projects segment. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding client requirements, presenting suitable equipment solutions, and building strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, consultants, and project stakeholders.

This role requires a combination of technical understanding, sales ability, client handling, and field coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and generate qualified leads in the construction and infrastructure sector.
  • Promote and sell construction equipment and technical solutions, delivering clear product demonstrations and solution-based presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Engage with contractors, builders, developers, consultants, and project teams to assess requirements and prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Manage sales follow-ups, convert inquiries into orders, and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and meet sales targets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely dispatch, installation, and after-sales support; maintain CRM records and update opportunity status.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project pipelines, and provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and market feedback to management.

Required Skills

  • Proven technical sales and business development skills with experience in construction equipment or infrastructure project sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and solution-selling abilities to effectively engage clients and close deals.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships, work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and proposal preparation.

Qualification

  • Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • B.E. / Diploma (Mechanical) preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in construction equipment / industrial equipment / project sales / infrastructure solutions
  • Field sales experience in B2B / technical sales
  • Strong customer-facing and solution-selling approach
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented professional
