What Your Role Entails
The Sales & Application Engineer will be responsible for driving sales, conducting product demonstrations, managing installation, and delivering training for Remote Visual Inspection (RVI) systems across diverse industrial sectors. The role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities to support consultative solution selling.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Business Development (North India)
Responsible for driving overall business growth for RVI (Remote Visual Inspection) and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) equipment across the North India region. This includes identifying new market opportunities, expanding customer base, and strengthening existing client relationships to achieve revenue targets.
Product Demonstration & Commissioning
Conduct detailed product demonstrations for customers, showcasing the capabilities and applications of RVI and NDT solutions such as Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors and Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges. Manage end-to-end commissioning activities, ensuring proper installation, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
Customer Engagement & Sales Lifecycle Management
Engage closely with customers to understand their technical and commercial requirements. Prepare tailored proposals, submit quotations, and ensure consistent follow-ups. Lead negotiations and successfully close orders in line with company booking guidelines and sales targets.
Lead Tracking & Weekly Reporting
Prepare and submit structured weekly reports outlining leads generated, product demonstrations conducted, and a clear action plan for the upcoming week. Ensure visibility of pipeline and sales activities to stakeholders.
Monthly Business Review & Forecasting
Compile and present monthly business reports highlighting achieved sales, key wins, and forecasted opportunities. Provide insights into pipeline health and expected conversions to support strategic decision-making.
CRM Management & Data Accuracy
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system. Ensure data integrity to enable effective tracking and reporting of sales performance.
Order Processing & Delivery Coordination
Handle order booking processes within internal workflows, track order progress, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery and invoicing. Monitor order lifecycle to avoid delays and ensure smooth execution.
Payment Collection & Commercial Closure
Take ownership of payment collection from customers, ensuring timely receipt of dues. Follow up on outstanding payments and support finance teams in achieving healthy cash flow and closure of commercial transactions.
