Responsibilities
· Generate New Business: Identify and develop opportunities within the 3D printing sector, including industries like aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and defense.
· Build and Manage Client Relationships: Establish long-term partnerships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored 3D printing solutions.
· Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas for 3D printing products and services.
· Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of 3D printing technologies, materials, and applications to provide technical guidance to clients.
· Sales Presentations: Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations of 3D printing solutions, showcasing their value and capabilities.
· Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in 3D printing to identify new opportunities.
· Proposal Development: Create detailed proposals and quotes, aligning with customer needs and company objectives.
· Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical and marketing staff, to ensure seamless execution of projects and campaigns.
Qualifications
· Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Business, or a related field.
· Strong understanding of 3D printing technologies, materials, and their applications.
· Proven experience in hardware or technology sales, preferably in 3D printing or advanced manufacturing.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approach.
· Experience in CRM tools and sales reporting is a plus.
· Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Experience and Skills
· Familiarity with software tools used in 3D printing workflows, such as CAD and slicing software.
· Experience in sales related to additive manufacturing, rapid prototyping, or advanced manufacturing solutions.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
