Role Overview
The Director – Sales will lead and drive revenue growth, sales strategy execution, and team performance across Workafella centres. This role focuses on delivering strong occupancy and revenue outcomes, building a scalable sales engine, and strengthening enterprise and partnership channels.
Working closely with leadership, the Director – Sales will translate business goals into actionable sales plans while ensuring consistent execution across cities.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Execution
- Execute the overall sales strategy to achieve revenue, occupancy, and growth targets across centres.
- Drive quarterly and annual sales plans aligned with business objectives.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue channels.
- Balance short-term targets with long-term pipeline development.
Sales Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead and manage a multi-city sales team including Sales Managers and Enterprise Sales executives.
- Set clear targets, KPIs, and performance benchmarks.
- Drive a high-performance, results-oriented sales culture.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of sales talent.
Enterprise Sales & Key Accounts
- Drive and support closure of large enterprise and multi-location deals.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, founders, and corporate clients.
- Manage key accounts to ensure retention, expansion, and long-term value.
- Support negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial structuring.
Partnerships & Channel Development
- Develop and grow channel partnerships, brokers, and referral networks.
- Strengthen alliance strategies to expand market reach and lead generation.
- Ensure consistent engagement and performance tracking of partners.
Market Intelligence & Planning
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights.
- Translate insights into actionable sales initiatives and positioning strategies.
- Manage pipeline tracking, forecasting, and periodic performance reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Centre teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Align sales commitments with operational capabilities.
- Provide feedback to improve product offerings, pricing, and go-to-market strategies.
Reporting & Governance
- Track key metrics such as conversions, occupancy, revenue, and pipeline health.
- Ensure CRM discipline and accurate reporting.
- Present regular sales updates and insights to leadership.
Required Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- 10–15+ years of sales experience, with leadership responsibility.
- Proven success in B2B sales, preferably in real estate, coworking, hospitality, or enterprise services.
- Experience managing regional or multi-city sales teams.
- Strong exposure to enterprise sales and deal closures.
Leadership & Skills
- Strong execution-focused leader with strategic understanding.
- Ability to manage, motivate, and scale sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in forecasting and reporting.
