Job Role: Industrial Sales Head

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead sales for Industrial Products. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, building strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share in industrial automation, process control, test & measurement, and building automation sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in industrial product sales and leadership in the Indian market. The successful candidate will drive solutions in collaboration with customers, marketing and systems teams to create roadmaps, architectures, circuit designs, and best-in-class methodologies. This role requires passion for building methodologies, driving initiatives, and solving complex, evolving engineering challenges.
Responsibilities
- Strategy
- Develop a comprehensive market mapping of industrial automation, process control, and building automation companies in India.
- Analyze business drivers, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape to craft strategic engagement plans.
- Define and execute India-specific sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure offerings meet local market needs (cost, performance, compliance).
Sales
- Drive revenue growth through direct customer engagement and channel partnerships.
- Position and price industrial products effectively for US & India customers.
- Lead negotiations for large deals and strategic accounts.
- Facilitate customer evaluations, design wins, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Prepare quarterly forecasts and contribute to long-term business planning for the India region.
- Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and conferences to strengthen brand presence.
Relationships
- Build and nurture strong relationships with CXOs, procurement heads, and technical decision-makers.
- Develop partnerships with system integrators, OEMs, and distributors to expand reach.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally to influence product roadmap and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or Business.
- 15+ years of experience in industrial product sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and winning large deals in India.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, process control, and related technologies.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
