We are expanding rapidly and are looking for a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business opportunities across India & APAC region.
Role Overview
- The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for active sales activities focused on hunting new prospects across the India & APAC geography.
- The primary goal is to generate qualified leads and fix discovery calls/meetings.
- The role requires proactive outreach via calls, emails, social media, and structured outbound cadences.

Key Responsibilities
I. Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Conduct outbound sales qualification calls to identify prospect pain points, needs, and fit.
- Book outbound meetings through cold calls, email campaigns, social selling, networking, and independent research.
- Run outbound cadences using sales engagement platforms to generate consistent top-of-funnel activity.
- Research and identify new business opportunities across the India & APAC region.
II. Engagement & Communication
- Engage confidently with prospects, including C-suite executives and Directors, clearly articulating Spalba's value proposition.
- Share relevant marketing content, case studies, and product insights to nurture prospect interest.
- Follow up rigorously with prospecting customers to uncover additional needs and move them into the pipeline.
III. Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work closely with the Sales Account Managers to ensure smooth handover of qualified meetings and alignment on ICP, persona profiles, and use cases.
- Maintain accurate logs of outreach activities, conversations, and follow-ups in CRM (Zoho)
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve prospecting processes and outbound strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number of qualified outbound meetings/calls fixed with new prospects.
- Outbound activity metrics: calls, emails, LinkedIn touches, and multi-channel cadence execution.
- Quality of meetings booked aligned with ICP and persona guidelines.
- Contribution to monthly and quarterly pipeline targets.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of outbound sales or inside sales experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Strong understanding of Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), buyer personas, and relevant business use cases, especially inthe hospitality industry.
- Experience selling in Domestic, International, or both markets.
- Strong analytical mindset and results-oriented approach across all stages of the sales cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Natural flair for building a long-term career in sales.
