Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Development Representative (SDR) role based in Chennai. The SDR will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads through outbound calls, emails, and social outreach, and for managing inbound inquiries from potential customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target accounts, identifying decision-makers, and generating interest in skilldeo.ai's AI-driven hiring solutions. The role involves maintaining a structured pipeline, scheduling product demos for the sales team, and accurately updating CRM records. The SDR will collaborate closely with sales and marketing to refine outreach messaging, gather feedback from prospects, and support continuous improvement of sales processes.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, with experience handling outbound and inbound prospecting activities.
  • Candidates should possess solid Sales and Business Development skills, including opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and nurturing early-stage relationships.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage prospects clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage time and priorities effectively.
  • Comfort using CRM tools and sales engagement platforms; familiarity with SaaS or HR-tech products is a plus.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales or SDR/BDR roles is preferred, but candidates with strong aptitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
