Job Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and engage potential clients across target industries and geographic regions.
- Execute outbound activities including calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and personalized messaging.
- Respond to inbound leads promptly and qualify them based on need, budget, timeline, and fit.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements related to cloud hosting, DaaS, SaaS hosting, managed services, or cloud migration.
- Nurture prospects through structured follow-ups, content sharing, and value-driven communication.
- Schedule high-intent meetings/demos for Account Executives.
- Work closely with marketing on campaigns, events, and content-driven outreach.
- Stay updated on cloud industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer pain points.
- Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to refine messaging and positioning.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of cloud solutions such as hosting, virtualization, VDI/DaaS, managed IT services, or cloud security.
- Proven ability to generate qualified leads and consistently meet monthly/quarterly targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to handle objections, build rapport, and articulate value propositions clearly.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and pipeline management skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- MBA is preferred, but not mandatory.
- 46 years of experience as an SDR or Business Development Representative in cloud hosting, IT services, SaaS, or technology domains.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into customer value.
