Position Summary
PracticeSuite is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting. This role will focus on identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective healthcare providers and medical organizations through outbound calls, emails, and targeted outreach campaigns.
The SDR will play a critical role in building pipeline for the sales team by setting qualified meetings and creating interest in PracticeSuite's solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach
- Identify and engage decision-makers within medical practices, billing companies, and healthcare organizations
- Build and manage prospect lists using CRM tools, databases, and market research
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, fit, budget, timing, and decision-making process
- Understand prospect pain points and align them with PracticeSuite solutions
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings and product demos for Account Executives
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of new opportunities for the sales team
- Follow up persistently and professionally with prospects through multi-touch outreach sequences
- Track all outreach activity and lead status within CRM
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales teams on campaigns and lead generation initiatives
- Share market feedback, prospect objections, and competitive insights
- Support territory and account-based outreach strategies
- Meet or exceed KPIs including calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and conversion rates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of sales, business development, lead generation, or outbound prospecting experience
- Strong communication skills via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls daily
- Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Self-motivated with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset
- Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions
- Healthcare industry experience preferred
- Experience prospecting medical practices, physician groups, or healthcare providers
- Familiarity with sales engagement tools and sequencing platforms
