We're seeking a driven and energetic Sales Development Representative to be the first point of contact with prospective customers. Your mission: turn cold leads into warm opportunities by identifying pain points, sparking interest, and qualifying prospects into high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). You'll work closely with marketing and sales teams to build pipelines and drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other channels.
- Engage and educate prospects about the company's products/services.
- Quality leads based on fit, interest, and readiness (convert cold contacts into MQLs).
- Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound leads as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of all lead interactions in the CRM.
- Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and optimise lead nurturing.
- Schedule discovery calls and demos for the sales team.
- Meet or exceed weekly/monthly lead conversion and outreach targets.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in pre-sales, inside sales, lead generation, or a similar role.
- Experience in B2B SaaS or tech sales.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven.
- Familiarity with MQL/SQL criteria and sales funnels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
