Job Description

We're seeking a driven and energetic Sales Development Representative to be the first point of contact with prospective customers. Your mission: turn cold leads into warm opportunities by identifying pain points, sparking interest, and qualifying prospects into high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs). You'll work closely with marketing and sales teams to build pipelines and drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, cold calling, and other channels.
  • Engage and educate prospects about the company's products/services.
  • Quality leads based on fit, interest, and readiness (convert cold contacts into MQLs).
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound leads as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of all lead interactions in the CRM.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and optimise lead nurturing.
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for the sales team.
  • Meet or exceed weekly/monthly lead conversion and outreach targets.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in pre-sales, inside sales, lead generation, or a similar role.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or tech sales.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and handling objections.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • Familiarity with MQL/SQL criteria and sales funnels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
