1. Mission (The Why)
As a Global SDR, you are the tip of the spear for Clear's international expansion. Your mission is to break into new geographies (specifically the EU, UAE and Philippines) and establish ClearTax as the go-to compliance partner for global enterprises. By successfully navigating complex regulatory landscapes and initiating high-stakes conversations with C-suite leaders, you will directly convert untapped market potential into the fuel that drives our next $20M in global revenue.
2. Outcomes & Responsibilities (The What)
- Primary Objective: Build and maintain a high-velocity sales pipeline by generating at least 10 sales-qualified opportunities (SQOs) per month within the EU/UAE/Philippines markets.
- Strategic Prospecting: Execute a high-volume, multi-channel outbound strategy (Cold Calling, LinkedIn, Email) to identify and engage decision-makers in companies scaling across the French, German, Middle Eastern/Philippines markets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for CFOs, CIOs, and Heads of Tax, effectively articulating how Clear's e-invoicing and compliance solutions solve cross-border regulatory pain points.
- Market Localization: Tailor outreach messaging to resonate with specific regional challenges, such as ZATCA compliance in the UAE or the transition to mandatory B2B e-invoicing in France and Poland.
- Data Integrity: Maintain 100% CRM accuracy in Salesforce, ensuring every interaction is logged to provide the leadership team with clear visibility into market trends and conversion bottlenecks.
3. Requirements & Competencies (The How)
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in an outbound SDR/BDR role, specifically targeting international markets (EU/Middle East/SEA) within the SaaS or FinTech sectors.
- Sales Stack: Hands-on experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and prospecting tools like Apollo.io or ZoomInfo.
- Soft Skills: The Hustle Factor: A resilient, self-starter attitude with the ability to handle rejection and pivot strategies in an ambiguous, 0-to-1 environment.
- Cultural Intelligence: The ability to adapt communication styles to suit the business etiquette of different regions (e.g., the directness of the EU vs. the relationship-based approach of the UAE).
- Executive Presence: Confidence to speak with senior finance leaders and hold your own in technical compliance discussions.
