About The Role
We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable
Sales / Business Development Specialist with hands-on experience selling
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP),
Employee Engagement solutions, or
Learning & Development platforms (LMS/LXP) to enterprise clients in India.
The ideal candidate understands the HR decision-making ecosystem and can confidently articulate how engagement, wellness, and learning solutions impact organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Domain Expertise & Value Articulation
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the complete Employee Engagement Cycleneeds assessment, surveys, insights, action planning, and ROI measurement.
- Explain how EAP, Employee Engagement, and L&D solutions collectively address HR challenges like attrition, low morale, burnout, and skills gaps.
- Maintain awareness of trends and competitive offerings in corporate wellness, engagement platforms, and L&D technologies in India.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Execute a multi-channel lead generation strategy using inbound, outbound, referrals, events, and HR industry networks.
- Follow a disciplined follow-up cadence to ensure consistent pipeline movement and opportunity closure.
- Qualify prospects effectively based on HR priorities, budgets, and timelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement (HR-Focused)
- Engage in high-value conversations with CHROs, HR Directors, Engagement Heads, and L&D teams.
- Understand their current EAP usage, engagement survey methods, and LMS/LXP investments.
- Map product features to the prospect's HR goals, demonstrating clear business impact.
- Technical Knowledge & Platform Familiarity
- Familiarity with Employee Engagement Platforms: engagement surveys (pulse/annual), 360 feedback tools, recognition & rewards systems.
- Understanding of L&D Platforms:
- LMS (Cornerstone, Moodle, enterprise LMS)
- LXP (Degreed, EdCast, etc.)
- and how they support training, skill development, and career pathing.
Qualifications & Skills
Academic Requirements (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree (BBA or equivalent).
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, HR, or related fields is highly preferred.
Experience Requirements (Mandatory)
- 35 years of experience in B2B Inside Sales / Sales Development.
- Must have on-ground sales experience selling one or more of the following to corporate clients in India:
- Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
- Employee Engagement solutions
- Learning & Development Platforms (LMS/LXP)
- Strong understanding of the HR decision-making cycle for wellness, engagement, and training purchases.
Core Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to run structured discovery calls with HR leadership.
- Strong follow-up discipline and pipeline management skills.
- Knowledge of HR tech platforms (Engagement, EAP, LMS/LXP).
- Ability to translate HR challenges into product-driven solutions.
