We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Manager (SDM) to drive and grow insurance sales for one of our leading banking clients. This role focuses on managing relationships with assigned bank branches, driving revenue generation, and enhancing team productivity to achieve business targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, banking, or insurance, with a proven ability to deliver results in a performance-driven environment.
Role : Sales Development Manager
Location: Chennai (Near by candidate locations we can place them)
Years of exp needed: 1+ yrs (Any sales exp is fine)
Interview mode : In-Person Interview
Immediate joiners preferred
Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with Bank branch managers and staff
Ensure visibility and positioning of products within bank branches
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
Generate leads through bank customer base
Conduct joint calls with bank staff to close sales
Promote Life Insurance products (Term, ULIP, Savings Plans)
Motivate and drive branch staff for cross-selling insurance
Attend regular sales meetings and performance reviews
Field sales exposure needed
Qualification:
Graduate (mandatory)
1+ years of experience in Sales(Any sales exp is fine)
Banking / Insurance / BFSI sales etc
Key Skills
Strong sales & negotiation skills
Relationship management
Target-driven mindset
Good communication (English + Tamil preferred)
Basic financial product knowledge
