Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Consultant role based in Chennai. The Sales Consultant will engage with walk-in and digital leads, understand customer needs, and recommend suitable Citroën and Jeep vehicles and solutions. Responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations and test drives, explaining features, pricing, and financing options, and preparing quotations and sales documentation. The role involves coordinating with finance, insurance, and after-sales teams to ensure a smooth delivery process and a positive ownership experience. The Sales Consultant will also follow up with customers, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and work toward achieving individual and dealership sales targets while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Consulting and Consulting skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle and service solutions.
  • Proven focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, including handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive buying experience.
  • Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present product features and value clearly and confidently.
  • Prior experience in automotive sales or retail sales is preferred; familiarity with Citroën, Jeep, or similar brands is an advantage.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and basic office software to manage leads, follow-ups, and documentation.
  • Ability to work on-site in Chennai, including weekends and peak business hours, as required by dealership operations.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Valid driving license and confidence in conducting test drives with customers.
