Who are we looking for
We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant specializing in automotive markets for a key project with a global consulting firm. In this role, you will be embedded with a leading automotive supplier to drive export revenue growth and strengthen their international sales channels. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded individual with a passion for cross-border trade to make a significant impact in the global automotive industry.
The Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and aftermarket channels across EMEA and North America.
- Manage and expand an existing portfolio of international customers and distributors, while proactively identifying and onboarding new partners.
- Lead full-cycle commercial negotiations, including pricing discussions and contract term agreements, with export customers.
- Ensure meticulous compliance with all export documentation, Incoterms, customs requirements, and international trade regulations.
- Collaborate with internal product, logistics, and supply-chain teams to resolve delivery, quality, and commercial issues for international clients.
- Provide regular market feedback, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to support strategic product development and decision-making.
Your Background & Skills:
- 410 years of proven B2B sales experience, with a mandatory background in hands-on export sales (managing the order-to-cash cycle, documentation, and international customers).
- Strong preference for direct experience selling automotive suspension components, shock absorbers, struts, chassis parts, or closely related categories.
- Demonstrated success in managing distributor networks and/or key accounts within the automotive aftermarket or OEM supply chain.
- Comfortable with international travel and working across multiple time zones to build sustainable, long-term client relationships.

- Location: Pune, India (with occasional travel to Bangalore and periodic travel to Europe).
- Duration: This is a 12-month contractual opportunity, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance.
