NextGen iQ is an Australian-based education and training company specialising in Accounting and Taxation programs designed for students aspiring to build careers in Australian KPOs. Position Overview:We are seeking aStudent Counsellorwho can guide prospective students through our admissions and training process. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, target-oriented, and skilled in communication. This role involves engaging with students, explaining course benefits, and supporting them from inquiry to enrolment and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle student inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, and emails, providing detailed information about courses and career outcomes.
- Counsel students on course selection, eligibility, and learning pathways.
- Convert leads into enrolments by effectively communicating the value of Australian Accounting & Taxation training.
- Maintain and update student databases (CRM).
- Follow up with prospective students to ensure smooth admission and onboarding.
- Assist with scheduling batches and coordinating with trainers.
- Build long-term relationships with students, providing ongoing support and resolving queries.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, webinars, and promotional events when required.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 13 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or education sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Kannada, Hindi, and English.
- Ability to understand and explain educational content confidently.
- Goal-oriented with a proven record of achieving admissions targets.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools.
- Empathetic, approachable, and passionate about helping students succeed.
Desirable
- Experience in counselling for international or professional education programs.
- Familiarity with accounting or finance training institutes will be an added advantage.
