The opportunity

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our Background Verification and workforce risk solutions across enterprise and mid-market clients. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and positioning BGV as a business-critical service within client organizations.

What you will do
  • Drive business development initiatives for Background Verification (BGV) and allied screening solutions
  • Engage with HR, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, Risk, and leadership stakeholders to understand workforce screening needs
  • Own the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through contract closure
  • Position BGV services as a risk mitigation and compliance enabler, not just a transactional service
  • Collaborate with operations and technology teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery alignment
  • Build and manage a structured pipeline with clear visibility and forecasting
What we look for
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in BGV, HR services, compliance, or SaaS
  • Ability to articulate the value of background screening, regulatory compliance, and risk management to enterprise stakeholders
  • Executive-level communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales engagements
  • Strong business judgment and structured execution approach
