Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Optometrist, based in Bengaluru. The Optometrist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations using specialized equipment to assess patients vision. Tasks include diagnosing eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and educating customers on eye care and eyewear options. Additional responsibilities include maintaining patient records, ensuring proper adjustments for eyewear, and collaborating with the Specsmakers team to provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing visual impairments
- Expertise in prescribing corrective lenses and providing customized eyewear recommendations
- Strong communication skills to educate and counsel patients on vision care
- Attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and eye health assessments
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated
- Degree in Optometry or a related field; relevant certifications and licensure in optometry
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and techniques is a plus
