Role Summary:

To drive sales growth for Lucid Imaging's Machine Vision Components portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, supporting customers with technical guidance, and providing application-based product recommendations. The role involves working with OEMs, system integrators, R&D teams, and end users, ensuring the right components such as cameras, lenses, optics, lighting, frame grabbers, 3D vision, and software are selected for their machine vision applications. The objective is to generate enquiries, convert them into orders, and build strong long-term customer relationships while offering pre-sales, product demonstrations, and technical support throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Application Engineer (Components Sales)

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for machine vision components.
  • Engage with OEMs, system integrators, and end users to understand requirements.
  • Recommend suitable cameras, lenses, lighting, and other components based on applications.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and product selection guidance to customers.
  • Conduct product demos, trials, and sample evaluations for customer applications.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals on time.
  • Coordinate with principal manufacturers for pricing, lead time, and product details.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
  • Participate in industrial events, exhibitions, webinars, and product training.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
  • Maintain updated inquiry, quotation, and follow-up records in CRM or reporting format.
  • Track competitor products, pricing, and industry trends to share market insights.
  • Support internal product training for sales teams, partners, and customers.
  • Ensure smooth order processing, delivery coordination, and post-sales support follow-up.

Required Skills:

  • B.E/B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, or related fields.
  • 3-7 years of experience in sales/application support (machine vision or automation preferred).
  • Good understanding of cameras, optics, lighting, and vision software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits.
  • Good communication skills in English & Hindi, empathetic, and target oriented.
  • Good disposition and pleasing personality.
