Job Description

1. Company Profile

HS Company Limited is a foreign company incorporated outside India and engaged in the manufacture and global supply of Polycarboxylate Ether (PCE) for the concrete admixture industry. Established in 2012, the company operates internationally with its capital and core technology originating from Korea.

HS Company Limited operates a Branch Office in India to support sales, customer engagement, and market development activities for the Indian concrete admixture market, while maintaining centralized control over key commercial and financial decisions at the Head Office.

2. Position Objective

The Sales & Technical Support Executive India will support the Branch Office in sales execution, technical support, and market development activities, acting as a local point of contact for customers while coordinating closely with the Head Office.

Sales activities are permitted under the Branch Office structure; however, final authority for pricing, contracts, invoicing, and collection remains with the Head Office, unless explicitly delegated in writing.

3. Scope of Work

3.1 Sales & Market Development

  • Conduct customer visits, meetings, and product presentations with admixture manufacturers, ready-mixed concrete (RMC) producers, precast concrete manufacturers, and related stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
  • Generate sales leads and business opportunities and follow up on customer inquiries
  • Support commercial discussions and negotiations in coordination with the Head Office
  • Assist in execution of sales orders after confirmation by the Head Office

3.2 Technical Support & Customer Coordination

  • Provide first-level technical support regarding product applications, usage guidelines, and performance expectations
  • Coordinate product trials, testing, and evaluations with customers under guidance from the Head Office technical team
  • Collect and communicate technical feedback and performance data to the Head Office
  • Support customers during trial pours and evaluation phases

3.3 Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Prepare periodic sales, market, and activity reports
  • Collect competitor information, including product offerings, market positioning, and indicative pricing trends
  • Monitor market developments, customer requirements, and industry trends

3.4 Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with Head Office teams on order processing, logistics planning, documentation status, and customer communication
  • Support post-sales follow-up activities and customer satisfaction initiatives

4. Authority & Limitations

Authorized Activities

  • Conduct sales meetings and technical discussions
  • Negotiate commercial terms within limits approved by the Head Office
  • Share Head Office-approved price indications
  • Support order execution and customer coordination

Restricted Activities (Unless Specifically Delegated in Writing)

  • Signing contracts or agreements
  • Issuing or approving tax invoices
  • Approving credit terms or collecting payments
  • Finalizing binding pricing or commercial terms

5. Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Branch Office Head and/or Head Office management
  • Operates within authority limits defined by the company's internal delegation framework

6. Qualification Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in:
  • Chemistry
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Commerce or equivalent discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, technical sales, or customer support related to:
  • Concrete admixtures
  • Ready-mixed concrete (RMC)
  • Precast concrete
  • Cement or construction chemicals

Skills

  • Strong English communication skills
  • Good understanding of concrete admixture technology and applications
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

7. Employment & Compensation

  • Employment on Indian payroll under the Branch Office
  • Salary and statutory benefits in compliance with Indian labor laws (PF, ESIC, gratuity, TDS, etc., as applicable)
  • Performance-based incentives may be applicable in accordance with company policy

8. Work Arrangement

  • Field-based sales and customer support role
  • Flexible working hours
  • Travel within assigned territory as required

9. Compliance & Tax Note

  • Income generated through the Branch Office shall be taxable in India in accordance with applicable corporate tax laws
  • All activities shall be conducted in compliance with FEMA, RBI regulations, and conditions imposed by the Authorized Dealer Bank
