We currently serve customers across India, UAE, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, UK, EU, and the Netherlands. Our platform is known for being affordable, practical, and comprehensive, competing with global tools like MoeGo, Gingr, Goose, and Pettle.

Role Overview

We are looking for motivated Sales & Business Development Interns to support our growth across India. This is a hands-on, target-driven internship where you will work on real inbound and outbound leads and learn how B2B SaaS sales works in the real world.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales & Business Development Intern, you will:

Lead Management

  • Handle inbound leads from grooming salons, boarding centres, pet stores, and vet clinics
  • Qualify prospects, understand their requirements, and clearly explain Happy Pet Tech's value
  • Schedule and coordinate product demos

Outbound Outreach

  • Make outbound calls and run WhatsApp and email campaigns
  • Reach pet businesses in metro cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad, along with Tier-2 cities

Product & Value Communication

  • Position Happy Pet Tech clearly against competitors like MoeGo, Gingr, and Pettle
  • Handle basic objections related to pricing, features, and adoption

CRM & Process Discipline

  • Update CRM daily with call logs, notes, follow-ups, and lead status
  • Maintain clean and accurate sales data

Customer Journey Support

  • Coordinate with onboarding and product teams
  • Support demos, trials, and smooth customer go-live

Market Feedback

  • Share insights and feedback from conversations with Indian pet businesses
  • Help improve sales scripts and internal processes

  • Complete B2B SaaS sales cycle, from prospecting to demo support
  • How pet businesses operate across grooming, daycare, boarding, vet, and retail
  • Exposure to how global SaaS products sell and price in different markets
  • Practical sales skills you can carry into any SaaS role

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are a good fit if you:

  • Have a BCA, B.Com, B.Sc Computer Science, or B.Tech background
  • (MBA pursuing or completed is a plus)
  • Are interested in sales, business development, and tech products
  • Can do 4060 calls per day
  • Have strong spoken and written English
  • Know Kannada /Tamil/Telugu or Hindi (added advantage)
  • Are comfortable using CRMs, WhatsApp Web, email tools, and spreadsheets
  • Have a personal laptop
  • Are available to join immediately
  • Have an energetic, learning-focused, and ownership-driven attitude
Internship & Full-Time Opportunity
  • Internship Duration: 3 months
  • Stipend: 15,000 per month
  • Full-Time Opportunity: Based on internship performance
  • Probation (Post Conversion): 6 months
