Job Summary
The Sales and Merchandising Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy that drives B2B corporate sales while ensuring our product assortments, presentation, and sales pitches deeply reflect our brand ethos of sustainability and social impact. This role is a critical intersection of commercial growth and brand custodianship in the NCR region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Business Development (B2B Focus)
- Target Achievement: Exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets for the Gurgaon/NCR market, primarily focusing on large corporate accounts, MNCs, and event management companies.
- Delivery Management: Sourcing, Delivering the order in a timely manner with quality for our clients. Identifying, prospecting, and closing new corporate accounts by presenting tailored, sustainable gifting solutions (e.g., onboarding kits, festive gifts, event merchandise).
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key client decision-makers (e.g., HR Heads, Marketing/Branding Teams, Procurement Managers) to secure repeat business.
- Proposal Generation: Crafting compelling, well-researched sales proposals and presentations that highlight the sustainability metrics and artisan impact of our curated selections, while working with the team in Bangalore.
2. Merchandising and Product Curation
- Market-Specific Curation: Analysing Gurgaon/NCR market trends, corporate client preferences, and competitor activities to recommend new products and themes for the region. Close connects with suppliers in the region.
- Portfolio Strategy: Working closely with the Sourcing/Product team (based in Bengaluru) to plan and manage the local product assortment, ensuring alignment with B2B demand, inventory goals, and the company's core values (eco-conscious, artisan-made).
- Visual Presentation: Developing and implementing visual merchandising guidelines for sales presentations, client meetings, product catalogues, and exhibitions to effectively showcase the quality and story behind each product.
- Pricing & Profitability: Managing pricing strategies, negotiating terms with clients, and overseeing the merchandising budget to maximize sales and gross margin while ensuring competitive value.
3. Strategic and Operational Leadership
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinating with Marketing, Logistics, and Product Development teams to ensure seamless execution of client orders and promotional campaigns.
- Sales Reporting: Conducting sales analysis, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and preparing detailed reports for management to inform future B2B sales targets and strategies.
- Brand Advocacy: Acting as a primary brand ambassador, passionately communicating the company's commitment to the environment and social empowerment to all stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in Sales/Business Development and/or Merchandising, preferably within the B2B corporate gifting, luxury, or sustainable goods industry in Delhi, NCR region
- Education: Graduate in BA, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Gurgaon/NCR corporate landscape and procurement cycles.

- Exceptional B2B Selling and Negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical abilities, proficient in sales forecasting and inventory management.
