Understand activities of each customer-facing role through the lens of the customer.
Identify new brands and prospects through research, review of market information, or other varied sources (website, UL Prospector, info e-mails, HAPPI, conferences).
Contact, build rapport, and qualify/disqualify prospects.
Engage current accounts to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account intelligence.
Achieve substantial sales and profitability growth with assigned accounts and new customers.
Update the customer/ distributor database on a routine basis and keep track of new business opportunities.
Monitor sales performance indicators and report on deviations
Provide data and trends for sales and marketing
Support in follow up on late invoice payment (liaise with finance department as when required).
Assist in the execution of marketing activities to meet organizational goals and objectives
Manage the distribution of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and promotional items
Organize and coordinate events, tradeshows, and sponsorships, including logistics, booth setup, and collateral preparation
Maintain sample center in an organized structure
Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns using various outlets, including sales tools, digital, social media, and events
Liaise with head office marketing team on advertising and material requirements for shows.
Traffic inbound customer leads to ensure success leads to fulfillment
Other activities assigned by management/ or special projects as required by the business to serve customers.
