Key Responsibilities
Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in structural steel fabrication, supply, and erection projects
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, EPC companies, and developers
- Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, and technical-commercial proposals
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve sales targets
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure accurate costing and timely delivery
- Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions through CRM or sales reports
Marketing
- Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies to increase market share
- Conduct market research on competitors, pricing, and industry trends
- Promote company capabilities, certifications, and completed projects
- Support branding efforts including brochures, presentations, exhibitions, and digital marketing initiatives
- Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly / quarterly sales targets achieved
- Number of new clients acquired
- Tender success ratio
- Revenue growth and profit margins
- Client retention and satisfaction
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
- 310+ years of experience in structural steel, fabrication, or construction industry
- Strong understanding of steel sections, fabrication processes, drawings, and BOQs
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to read basic structural drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge preferred
Preferred Experience
- Experience with industrial buildings, warehouses, PEB, bridges, or infrastructure projects
- Existing network with contractors and consultants
- Knowledge of local and international steel standards
