Operating under the provincial government of Gyeonggi-do, Korea, GBC serves as a strategic bridge, helping Korean manufacturers navigate the Indian market, establish B2B partnerships, and foster long-term commercial growth.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales and Marketing Specialist based in Mumbai. You will be responsible for developing and executing market-entry strategies for various Korean brands.
The role involves identifying market trends, generating high-quality B2B leads, and maintaining strong relationships between Korean manufacturers and Indian distributors/retailers. You will act as a key consultant, providing actionable market insights to help foreign manufacturers succeed in the local landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective B2B sales and marketing strategies tailored to the Indian market.
Identify, vet, and onboard potential distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide Korean manufacturers with strategic recommendations.
Manage end-to-end lead generation and client acquisition processes.
Collaborate with Korean partners to localize brand promotion and digital marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Sales Strategy: Proven track record in B2B lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management.
Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in market research, brand localization, and digital marketing trends.
Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the Cosmetic/Beauty industry is preferred.
Trade Experience: Knowledge of international trade, import-export procedures, or business development is a significant plus.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability
to bridge cultural gaps in business.
Mindset: A proactive, analytical thinker who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative on-site team.
