Position Title: Marketing Generalist

Work Mode: 100% Remote

Location: Hyderabad

Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Generalist with a strong interest in media, journalism, and content strategy to join our growing team. This role blends marketing communication, editorial storytelling, and digital engagement, offering an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in brand communication and media outreach.

Ideal candidates should have prior experience in magazine or newspaper editing, journalism, or public content creation, and be eager to grow in a fast-paced marketing environment.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys working across multiple marketing functions, and can translate ideas into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and publish marketing content across digital, print, and video platforms.

Contribute to campaign planning, editorial scheduling, and social media initiatives.

Develop written materials such as articles, blogs, press releases, and campaign content.

Support the development of communication strategies aligned with brand goals.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and tone across channels.

Edit and review long-form written material, including feature articles and reports (up to 30 pages).

Stay updated on marketing, media, and communication trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

MBA in Marketing preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to tone, clarity, and storytelling.

Interest or background in roles such as Magazine Editor, Newspaper Editor, Journalist, or Content Editor.

Understanding of campaign planning, PR, and media communication.

Creative mindset with the ability to work collaboratively.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 24 years of hands-on marketing experience (preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented organization).
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM, email marketing tools, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret marketing data.
  • Creative thinker with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
  • Experience in sales is also an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.)
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar).
  • Experience running paid campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
