Internship Duration - 6 Months (extendable based on performance)
Role Overview
The CPaaS Product Sales Intern will support the sales team in promoting and selling INTEXMMEDIA CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) solutions, including SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, IVR, OTP, and API-based communication products.
The intern will gain hands-on exposure to B2B tech sales, lead management, client interaction, CRM handling, and product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Management
- Assist in lead generation through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and inbound inquiries
- Qualify prospects based on business needs and communication use cases
- Maintain and update leads, follow-ups, and deal stages in the CRM system
- Schedule product demos and meetings for the sales team
Product Understanding & Pitching
- Learn and understand INTEXM's CPaaS offerings (SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, APIs, dashboards)
- Assist in preparing sales pitches, proposals, and product presentations
- Explain basic product features, pricing models, and benefits to prospective clients
Client Coordination
- Follow up with prospects on proposals, demos, and trial usage
- Coordinate with technical and onboarding teams for smooth client handover
- Address basic client queries and escalate complex issues to senior team members
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly sales activity reports
- Track conversion ratios, lead status, and pipeline movement
- Support documentation related to client onboarding and agreements.
Skills & Competencies
Required Skills
- Good communication skills (English & local language preferred)
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, or B2B products
- Willingness to learn CPaaS, SaaS, or technology-driven products
- Comfortable with calling, follow-ups, and client interaction
- Basic computer skills (Excel, email, CRM exposure is a plus)
Educational Qualification
- Pursuing or recently completed MBA / BBA / B.Com / B.Tech / Any Graduate
- Specialization in Marketing, Sales, Business Analytics, or IT is an advantage.
