Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales and Marketing Intern located in Bengaluru. The intern will assist with daily sales activities, customer engagement, and business development initiatives. Responsibilities include prospecting and engaging potential clients, providing strong customer service, participating in sales presentations, assisting in sales management, and conducting training sessions. The intern will collaborate with the sales and marketing team to help achieve strategic organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with clients
  • Customer service and support abilities to address client inquiries and provide solutions
  • Basic understanding or experience with sales and business development processes
  • Ability to assist in sales management tasks and participate in training initiatives
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and an eagerness to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and other relevant software
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and research prospective clients across e-commerce, logistics, FMCG, pharma, and manufacturing sectors
  • Support outbound lead generation via LinkedIn, cold outreach, and targeted research
  • Assist in preparing sales decks, proposals, and techno-commercial submissions
  • Track and manage leads, interactions, and pipeline updates through CRM tools
  • Coordinate with internal teams to drive timely follow-ups and conversions

Marketing & Growth Initiatives

  • Develop marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, and email campaigns
  • Support digital outreach efforts, especially LinkedIn-led campaigns
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis
  • Assist in planning and executing targeted B2B campaigns

Strategic & Analytical Work

  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies for new solutions
  • Support pricing analysis, positioning, and value articulation
  • Help build case studies, client success stories, and sales narratives

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Interest in B2B sales, supply chain, infrastructure, or industrial products
  • Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and research tools
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
