With a 55-member team and a portfolio of 450+ projects, we are looking for a driven Sales & Business Development Executive who thrives on meeting people face-to-face and building lasting client relationships.
Role Overview
This is not a desk-bound, dial-and-email kind of role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable stepping out every single day, walking into businesses, networking at events, and building relationships on the ground. While cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, and email follow-ups will be part of your toolkit, the primary expectation is that you spend a significant portion of your day in the field meeting business owners, decision-makers, and marketing heads in person. You will pitch our core digital marketing services with a primary focus on Social Media Marketing, supported by SEO and Paid Ads (Google & Meta).
What a Typical Day Looks Like
Morning (9:30 AM 11:00 AM) Office Block
Review and prioritize the day's pipeline, follow up on warm leads via calls and emails.
Send personalized LinkedIn connection requests and messages to prospects identified the previous day.
Prepare pitch decks, proposals, or case studies for scheduled meetings.
Brief huddle with the team or manager on targets and blockers.
Midday to Afternoon (11:00 AM 5:00 PM) Field Work (Core of the Role)
Visit 46 pre-identified businesses or walk into commercial hubs, markets, and business parks to pitch services.
Attend networking events, business meetups, trade expos, and chamber of commerce gatherings.
Conduct on-the-spot audits of prospects social media presence and show them quick-win opportunities.
Build rapport with restaurant owners, clinic administrators, retail store managers, real estate developers, and other local business owners.
Collect business cards, exchange WhatsApp contacts, and schedule formal follow-up meetings or demos.
Late Afternoon / Evening (5:00 PM 6:30 PM) Wrap-Up & Pipeline Update
Log all field visits, meeting notes, and lead status in the CRM.
Make 1015 cold calls to new prospects or follow up with contacts from the field.
Plan the next day's route and target list.
Coordinate with the delivery team on onboarding new clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, approach, and acquire new clients for Social Media Marketing, SEO, and Performance Marketing services through direct field visits as the primary channel.
Conduct a minimum of 46 in-person business visits per day across targeted commercial areas, business clusters, and industry events.
Pitch Technoville's service offerings with a consultative approach understand the prospect's business, diagnose their digital gaps, and present tailored solutions.
Supplement field activity with cold calling (1520 calls/day), LinkedIn outreach, and email campaigns to keep the pipeline full.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools; track every interaction from first contact to deal closure.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and presentations both on-site and remotely.
Negotiate pricing, scope, and contracts; close deals and ensure smooth handoff to the delivery team.
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and local business networking groups to expand the company's reach and personal network.
Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor offerings to have informed conversations with prospects.
Provide weekly reports on field activity, pipeline status, conversion ratios, and revenue generated.
What We Are Looking For
13 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in a digital marketing agency or IT services company.
Proven track record of field sales someone who has physically gone out, met clients, and closed deals (not just inside sales).
Strong understanding of social media marketing, SEO basics, and how digital advertising (Google/Meta Ads) works.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi/Gujarati.
Self-motivated, target-driven personality who does not wait for leads to come in but goes out and creates opportunities.
Comfortable with door-to-door and walk-in sales approaches; not shy about cold introductions.
Ability to quickly build rapport and trust with small and medium business owners.
Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and basic proposal/presentation tools.
Own two-wheeler or vehicle for daily field travel is a strong plus.
Nice to Have
Experience selling social media management retainers or digital marketing packages.
An existing network of local business contacts in Ahmedabad or Gujarat.
Basic knowledge of content creation, video marketing, or influencer marketing.
Exposure to the travel, hospitality, healthcare, or F&B industry.
