About Colorkaar

Colorkaar is a boutique color grading studio that collaborates with production houses, filmmakers, agencies, and brands to elevate the visual tone of their stories. We specialize in high-end color finishing for films, commercials, and branded content blending technical precision with creative storytelling.

Role Overview

We're looking for a motivated, articulate, and creatively inclined Sales & Business Development professional who can help us grow our client base and strengthen relationships across the production and post-production ecosystem.

This role bridges creative understanding and business strategy ideal for someone who loves cinema, advertising, and visual storytelling as much as they enjoy building partnerships and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and connect with potential clients in the film, ad, and content production space including DPs, directors, producers, and agencies.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Develop outreach campaigns (emails, calls, in-person meetings) aligned with Colorkaar's creative positioning.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging and promotional materials.
  • Track project leads, maintain CRM updates, and ensure follow-ups are timely and professional.
  • Understand client needs and coordinate internally with the colorists and producers to craft tailored proposals.
  • Represent Colorkaar in industry events, festivals, and networking opportunities.
  • Provide insights on market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 14 years of experience in sales, business development, client servicing, or production coordination ideally within film, advertising, or creative industries.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A passion for visual storytelling and post-production (interest in color grading or cinematography is a plus).
  • Comfortable working with CRMs, email tools, and structured outreach workflows.
  • Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a flexible, creative environment.
