Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Randstad Staffing team. This role is focused on driving sales and business growth by acquiring new clients and building strong relationships in the manufacturing, engineering, healthcare, infrastructure, and pharmaceutical sectors. Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Business Growth

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the staffing industry.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients in manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, healthcare, and pharma sectors.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Utilize lead generation techniques to create a healthy pipeline of potential customers.

Sales Cycle Management

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to client acquisition and contract closure.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations with key stakeholders, including strategic heads, business leaders, and CXOs.
  • Develop and present customized staffing solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client.

Relationship Management & Client Satisfaction

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their HR needs and providing effective staffing solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and transition of client assignments.
  • Adapt Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to evolving client needs and organizational goals.

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence

  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to refine sales strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for new business models and innovative staffing solutions.
  • Stay up to date with labor market changes and industry-specific hiring trends.

Performance & Revenue Optimization

  • Ensure customer sign-ups align with pricing frameworks and profitability goals.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through consistent performance and strategic planning.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports to leadership teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business, Sales, HR, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in the manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, healthcare, or pharma sectors.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with senior executives and decision-makers.
  • Excellent market research and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
