Job Description

Role Overview

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding key customer accounts in India for OmniVision's semiconductor solutions. This role focuses on account ownership, revenue growth, design‑in support, and long‑term customer partnerships, working closely with Field Application Engineers (FAE), global sales teams, and internal stakeholders to support customers from design‑in through production ramp.

Key Responsibilities:

Account & Customer Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders across engineering, purchasing, operations, and management
  • Act as the primary commercial interface between customers and OmniVision
  • Conduct regular customer meetings, business reviews, and roadmap discussions

Sales & Business Growth

  • Identify new business opportunities, applications, and programs at existing and new accounts
  • Drive customer engagement throughout the product lifecycle, from concept and design‑in to mass production
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and promote OmniVision's technology roadmap

Technical Coordination & Design‑In Support

  • Work closely with Field Application Engineers (FAE) to manage technical engagements, evaluations, and design‑in activities
  • Coordinate internal resources to support customer requirements, sample requests, and project timelines
  • Assist in resolving commercial or supply‑related issues to ensure customer satisfaction and continuity

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and account plans
  • Provide regular updates on customer demand, program status, and revenue projections
  • Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights with internal teams

Cross‑Functional & Global Collaboration

  • Collaborate with global sales teams, marketing, operations, and supply chain to support customer programs
  • Support pricing, quotation, and contract discussions in accordance with company policies
  • Represent OmniVision professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Qualifications & Experience:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred)

Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor or electronics industry sales
  • Proven experience managing OEM or key accounts in India
  • Experience selling imaging, sensor, SoC, or related semiconductor solutions is strongly preferred
