Job Description: SailPoint L3 Engineer

Immediate to 30 Days NP only.

Overview

Senior SailPoint L3 Engineers to join our SailPoint Identity Governance team. The ideal candidates will have excellent SailPoint IIQ / ISC support and code debugging skills, with strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing SailPoint implementations in a 24x7 support environment.

Experience Level

  • 5–8+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in SailPoint IIQ / ISC support and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 production support for SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and/or Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
  • Perform deep code debugging and troubleshooting of SailPoint workflows, rules, connectors, and integrations.
  • Analyze production issues by reviewing logs, error traces, and source code to identify root causes (RCA) and implement fixes.
  • Support Lifecycle Management (LCM/LCE) processes including Joiner, Mover, and Leaver flows.
  • Review and support CI/CD pipelines, GitLab merge requests, and deployments.
  • Handle ServiceNow incidents, changes, and problem tickets related to SailPoint.
  • Support and maintain integrations with Active Directory, Azure AD, SQL Server, and target applications.
  • Use Splunk and other monitoring tools for proactive issue detection and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams and application owners.
  • Participate in 24x7 shift rotations and on-call support.

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and/or SailPoint ISC.
  • Excellent SailPoint code debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong development experience in Java and Beanshell (PowerShell is a plus).
  • In-depth knowledge of SailPoint concepts including:
  • Identity Cubes
  • Identity Attribute Mappings
  • LCM/LCE workflows
  • Role Management
  • SOD Policies
  • Experience with SailPoint integrations:
  • Active Directory
  • Azure AD
  • JDBC / SQL Server
  • Web Services, SCIM, Delimited Files connectors
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (integration and ticket handling).
  • Working knowledge of GitLab (or similar version control tools).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment (JIRA).

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

  • Advanced SQL Server query experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk for log analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CyberArk integrations.
  • Exposure to cloud IAM and DevOps practices.
