Safety Officer - EFS

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to identify unsafe acts and conditions.
• Implement safety training programs and ensure employee awareness of safety procedures.
• Recommend corrective actions and ensure timely closure of safety observations.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety laws, factory acts, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with department heads, contractors, and external agencies to enforce safe working practices.
• Monitor PPE usage, permit-to-work systems, and emergency preparedness plans.
• Influence behavior and promote a safety-first mindset across all organizational levels.
