Dee Vee Projects Limited (DVPL) is hiring a Safety Manager for our ongoing project at CIMS Hospital & Medical College, Koni, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive site safety policies, procedures and protocols.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, statutory requirements and project standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-miss events and prepare detailed reports and root-cause analyses.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and safety training for employees, workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe working practices.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training documentation and compliance reports.
• Coordinate with project management, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on safety-related matters.
• Monitor site activities and ensure compliance with approved safety procedures and method statements.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, response procedures and safety drills.
• Track safety observations, non-conformities and corrective actions through to closure.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in construction safety management.
• Experience in large-scale building, infrastructure or hospital projects will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently manage safety operations at a construction project site.
• Relevant professional safety certifications will be an advantage.
