Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices at our construction/site operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards, promoting safe work practices, and achieving zero-accident goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct toolbox talks on work-related safety issues.
- Inspect power tools, fire extinguishers, and scaffolding to ensure safe working conditions.
- Conduct site safety inductions for new employees, visitors, and subcontractors.
- Identify hazards and report site-related issues to the Site Manager.
- Conduct fire drills and emergency preparedness programs.
- Organize safety awareness training programs for laborer's.
- Arrange and place safety signage at site locations.
- Ensure workplace safety by providing required PPE and achieving zero-accident targets.
- Participate in joint site inspections with site managers, construction teams, and consultants.
- Promote safety awareness and safe work practices among team members.
Mandatory Skills:
- Engineer (Safety Background)
- Safety Advisor
- Tool Administration
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 68 years of relevant experience in construction/site safety.
- Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations.
- Experience in safety audits, reporting, and hazard identification.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
