Role Description
The Safety Engineer - EHS will be responsible for implementing and managing Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols at project sites. The role involves conducting safety audits, training employees on safety and occupational health standards, identifying hazards, and implementing risk mitigation strategies. Additionally, the Safety Engineer will ensure compliance with safety regulations, analyze workplace incidents, and promote a culture of safety. This is a full-time on-site position located in Deoria.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and application of Health & Safety and Safety Engineering principles
- Proficiency in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management and Occupational Health practices
- Experience in conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols
- Skills in providing effective safety and health training to employees
- Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to safety and compliance
- Certified training or qualifications in EHS or Occupational Health & Safety Management is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field is required
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of local and international safety standards and regulations
