Position- Safety & Health coordinator
Reporting to - Head - Occupational Health & Safety
Qualification - Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Textile / Mechanical) & Diploma in Industrial Safety or Specialisation in Process Safety
Experience - 5 to 10 years in handling similar profile.
Job Description:
- To coordinate & develop Safety standards & procedures for the business and effectively coordinate with site team for its implementation.
- Coordinate with Process Safety Committee, unit team on key elements of Process Safety Management.
- Review unit & business safety committee progress & provide timely feedback to Head - OH&S to decide on future strategy.
- Coordinate & provide support to unit team to carry out risk assessment, PHA'S specific process safety studies, HIRA & develop mitigation plan including Management program Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Crisis management plan.
- To define SHE expectations, scope for vendors and contractors and evaluate their safety performance periodically.
- Provide design inputs w.r.t Safety norms to Design Team at time of conceptualization to ensuring safe place to work.
- Conduct training sessions for management, supervisors and workers on SHE practices and legislation.
- Coordinate, compile & analyze safety data to support Safety & Occupational Health function.
- Help site team on Enablon / SHIELD software use & support for data reporting & analysis
- Develop training modules, e- mailers , One pagers on various safety topics , themes
- Collate, compile data for Quarterly safety newsletter & other safety communication
- Maintain & upkeep of Safety Data management center
- Upload & update safety information on central portal- SHIELD
- Follow- up with sites for action closure & its status
