Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety and Compliance Officer in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The Safety and Compliance Officer will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring all safety regulations and compliance measures are implemented and adhered to. Daily tasks include conducting safety audits, developing and updating safety policies, training staff on compliance protocols, investigating incidents, and maintaining compliance documentation. The role also involves staying updated on local and national safety standards related to transportation and logistics.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in safety regulation policies, safety audits, and compliance standards.
• Strong skills in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Familiarity with transportation and logistics sector safety protocols, including handling temperature-controlled freight.
• Effective communication and training skills to ensure safety policy awareness across teams.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage compliance records and reports.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or related field is a plus.
• Ability to stay updated on evolving safety regulations and apply them effectively.
