About the job
We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Business Head/ Industry Lead for the Banking
& Financial Services vertical based in Mumbai for our client. The ideal candidate will have
3-8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of selling to mid-sized
and large banks/ BFSI/ Insurance in India. You should have deep relationships in the banking industry and a strong understanding of the technology decision-making process in financial institutions.
What You'll Do:
Own and drive revenue growth for the BFSI vertical.
Create and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to the Banking clients.
Build and nurture CXO-level relationships.
Lead consultative sales conversations focused on solution selling, not just product
pitching.
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to closure and
account expansion.
Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, and Customer Success) to ensure
strong pre- sales and post-sales engagement.
Analyse market trends and competitive landscape to refine positioning and messaging.
Report pipeline metrics and forecasts to senior leadership regularly.
You Are Someone Who:
Has 3-8 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS/technology products.
Proven success in selling to BFSI in India.
Based in Mumbai.
Deep understanding of the BFSI ecosystem, decision-making hierarchies, and digital
transformation trends in banking.
Demonstrated ability to close enterprise deals and manage complex sales cycles.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in selling SaaS solutions to BFSI.
Existing network within BFSI- CXOs, Business Heads.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, or a related field.
